Dennis Bess, owner of Bess Insurance Agency (B.I.A.), has many things to be proud of, but one of his favorite accomplishments is his successful insurance business in Fredericktown, MO. After being a captive agent for 22 years, Dennis had the knowledge, experience, and motivation to start his own agency, centered around the wholesome, small-town values he believes in most. With the additions of Carrie Shelby, Agent, Emmilee Royle, Agent/CSR, and Lisa Starkey, CSR, business took off.
Dennis says it's the quality care his staff gives to each and every customer that sets his agency apart from the rest. At the beginning of the year, Dennis hired a new agent, Dolores Howard, whose focus is on servicing the ever-expanding farm and agri-business markets in and around Fredericktown. With the addition of Dolores, the agency has dabbled more in the farming market, but are exceptionally good at marketing their services to reach various other markets as well. Currently in the middle of a farm mailer campaign, specifically targeting different sized farms in the area, B.I.A. also utilizes radio, newspaper, and social media campaigns to reach out to new customers and retain a positive brand image with current clients as well. Dennis says these practices maintain B.I.A.'s presence in the area as the best source for exceptional insurance coverage.
After nearly 30 years in insurance, Dennis knows not only the importance of building his brand, but maintaining it with solid partnerships.
