Paul Long started his insurance career in Gardner, KS in 1999, opening a Farmers Insurance Agency. After a year in Gardner, Paul accepted an offer to move back to his home town of Bolivar to work for an independent agency. After working for several years and getting to know the insurance industry, he decided it was time to branch out. In 2006, Paul opened his own insurance agency, a decision he has never regretted.

Today, The Paul Long Agency is an extremely successful full-line, Trusted Choice agency that houses five office staff with two full-lines producers. The agency has received many awards, and Paul has been awarded the MAIA Young Agent of the Year and multiple life insurance sales awards. He has served as past president of Bolivar Rotary, past president of Bolivar Chamber of Commerce, founder of the Bolivar Economic Coalition, past president of the local sheltered work shop, and the current president of the Mt Gilead Cemetery board overseeing the endowment. The Paul Long Agency was named the Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year in 2009. Paul also owns and operates an antique tractor business, as well as being a partner in a storm and safety shelter company.
