Warren Preuitt, current owner of the agency, comes from a long line of insurance agents. Warren’s father-in-law, JD Schlobohm, started the business in 1961 as Schlobohm Insurance. When Warren joined the agency in 1976, the name changed to Schlobohm-Preuitt Insurance. JD retired in 1995 and the business was permanently changed to Preuitt Insurance Services, Inc. Since their inception, Preuitt Insurance has written all lines of business including personal, commercial, life and health.

The agents at Preuitt Insurance have one goal, to simplify each customer's life by offering them the best insurance options available. Warren Preuitt - Owner/Agent

A native of Sedalia, Warren said his biggest pleasure as an insurance agency owner is getting to serve and protect others in the community. "My many years of experience in this business have revealed that bad things do happen to good people and insurance is a good way to share the risk and avoid financial hardship. I enjoy the challenge of making protection affordable. I know the extreme importance of family and really love helping each family continue to prosper when disaster strikes."

Warren and his wife, Cheryl, have 2 children, Chris and Kim, who have given them two grandchildren, Josie and Thomas. In his spare time, Warren serves as a member of the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club, First Baptist Church of Sedalia, and Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Sonny Broyles - Agent

A licensed agent in Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance, Sonny has been with Preuitt for over 15 years.  A native of Sedalia, Sonny enjoys serving as a board member to the Noonday Optimist Club and The Red Cross, attending The First United Methodist Church, and spending time with his family and friends.

Bridgett Marcum - CSR

Aside from being Preuitt's Customer Service Representative, Bridgett is also licensed in personal lines insurance. Bridgett lives in Sedalia and attends The First Baptist Church. She enjoys cooking, taking walks, and hosting game nights among family and friends.

Megan Evans - Agent

A licensed agent in Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance, Megan also handles claims for Preuitt. A native of Sedalia, Megan enjoys serving on the Sedalia School District Foundation, The Leadership Sedalia Steering Committee and is secretary of the Sedalia Lions Club. Aside from volunteer work, Megan enjoys cooking and baking, riding the Katy Trail, and spending time with family and friends.

Brenda Corbett - Agent/Health Insurance Specialist

Though she is licensed in Property/Casualty insurance, Brenda's real passion lies in Life/Health Insurance. Having worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas City for 20 years, Brenda brings a great amount of experience in this area to the Preuitt Agency, serving as their Health Insurance Specialist. Brenda enjoys teaching 5th and 6th grade Sunday school and working with local and foreign mission trips at her church in Sedalia. She also has five grandchildren who fill her time outside of work. 

Kimberly Horstman - Agent

Licensed in Property/Casualty, Life/Health, and Accident insurance, Kimberly brings over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry. A member of the Sedalia Lions Club, MO Heartland Girl Scouts, The Red Cross Advisory Committee and Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, Kimberly also enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading and running.
